As communications officer, I managed the Corporation’s Family and Young People’s Information (FYi) Service’s online directory of services, activities and events.

I wrote, edited and published new and amended content and revised the editorial style of its content pages to improve user experience in terms of readability, linkage and ‘call to action’. I also managed the service’s Facebook account, writing, planning and scheduling posts.

During the period of my contract the FYi directory received a Family First Quality Award 2016 for local authority family information services.
